Kylix programming tool - Definition and Overview

Kylix is a Linux version of the Borland Corporation's Delphi and C++ Builder development environments for Microsoft Windows. Kylix allows programmers to develop software applications for Linux using Object Pascal, C++, or C.

Currently, the tool seems to be in trouble as there are no indications a new version (Kylix 4) is coming up. There is no upgrade path to Delphi 2005, and Delphi 2005 does not seem to include the CLX Library support.
