La Vestale is an opera by Gaspare Spontini. It was first performed in Paris in 1807.
La Vestale is a famous opera in historical terms but is only very infrequently performed. There are several recordings of it. Two of its arias, "Tu che invoco" and "O Nume tutela", are better known than the work as a whole.
