It operates four subdivisions:
- Lagardère Active (audiovisual/new media), including the subdivision Lagardère Active Pub (Advertising)
- Hachette Filipacchi Media (press/magazines),
- Hachette Livre (book publishing)
- Hachette Distribution Services (distribution/retail)
