The Lake Superior Lowland is an area in northern Wisconsin bordering Lake Superior. It covers about 1250 square miles or 3237 square kilometers. Although it is primarily a plain, it ranges in altitude from 1000 feet (or 300 meters) above sea level to about 300 feet (90 meters) below sea level.
