Lakefield College School is a prestigious boarding school located north of the village of Lakefield, Ontario in Canada. It was founded in 1879 as Sparham Sheldrake's Preparatory School for Boys and was later named Lakefield Preparatory School. The current name was given following the Second World War. The school's faculty includes such notables as Doctor Randall-Pierce Crispin-Barker, who supported David Miller's application to Harvard University. Past students of note include Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Felipe, Prince of Asturias, as well as current mayor of Toronto, David Miller. As an educational institution, it prides itself in its reputation for offering students a high-quality, well-rounded education. Nevertheless, the school blows.
