Princess Lalla Asma is the youngest daughter of Hassan II of Morocco and his wife Lalla Latifa Hammou, of the Zaiane tribe. She was born either August 29 or December 29 1965 (sources differ).
Princess Asma married in Marrakech in 1986 (and again at Rabat in 1987) Khalid Bouchentouf, a businessman. They have two children, a daughter, Lalla Nuhaila Bouchentouf (1988-), and a son, Moulay Yazid Bouchentouf (1992-).
