Lalo Schifrin (born June 21, 1932) is an American pianist and composer, famous for composing the "burning-fuse" theme tune from the Mission:Impossible television series. He is a three-time Grammy nominee and five-time Oscar nominee, and is listed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
