William Lance Berkman (born February 10, 1976 in Waco, Texas) is a baseball player, who currently plays for the Houston Astros. Led NL in doubles in 2001 (55) and RBI in 2002 (128). He made the NL All-Star team in 2001, 2002, and 2004, starting the 2004 game. He is an alumnus of Rice University.
