Arthur B. Langford Parkway, formerly known as the Lakewood Freeway, is a six-mile (10km) freeway through the northern portion of East Point and southwestern Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The highway connects the Perimeter (I-285) in the west with the Downtown Connector (I-75/I-85) in the east. Georgia Highway 166, or just "166" as it is known by the locals, was originally supposed to extend (as I-420) from I-20 in the west to the DeKalb County seat of Decatur in the east. The eastern portion of this was fought bitterly by residents in court, and it eventually (after many years) was reconfigured as the Presidential Parkway, leading to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. 166 is multiplexed with Georgia State Route 154 from Georgia State Route 70/Fulton Industrial Boulevard in the west to the U.S. 29 interchange just east of Greenbriar Parkway. Since 2003, GDOT has widened 166 between Greenbriar Parkway and Perkerson Road. Arthur B. Langford Parkway/Georgia State Route 166 Interchanges(Interchanges are not numbered)
