Ancient sumerian city.
Also called Larak.
Its name means "house of light" in sumerian.
Its semitic name is Ellasar or Larsa. And also Bit-Shamash (house of the sun).
The city was created by Pabilsag, the god of trees.
Its real location in south Iraq has not been found yet, but it is between the old cities [[Sippar (modern Tell Abu-Habbah ) and Shurupak (modern Fara).
