The Laramie Project is a play written by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project. It is a compilation of over 200 interviews conducted by the theater company with inhabitants of the town.
The play was made into a movie, also written and directed by Moisés Kaufman. It starred Cristina Ricci and Steve Buscemi. The film employs a documentary style but includes actual events re-enacted by actors.
