Laura Jean Moffatt (born 9 April 1954) is a politician in the United Kingdom. She is Labour Party member of Parliament for Crawley, and was first elected in 1997.
Moffat had previously been Mayor of Crawley and a long-serving member on Crawley Borough Council. A fully trained General Nurse Laura has a husband, Colin, and three adult children, Russell, Alistair and Edward. One role she has undertaken as a Member of Parliament is that of PPS to Lord Falconer, Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs (2003 - present).
