Laura Wright as Cassie Layne Winslow Laura Wright (born Laura Sisk on September 11, 1970 in Clinton, Maryland) is an American soap opera actress.
She married husband John Wright in October 1995 and changed her name accordingly.
Her first soap gig was the role of younger Rescott sister Allison "Ally" Rescott Alden Bowman on Loving (1991-1995). When that show ended, she reprised her role on spinoff soap The City (1995-1997). After that show was also canceled, she was offered the contract role of Revas half-sister Cassie Layne Jessup Winslow on Guiding Light, which she still portrays today.
