Layer_13 - Are a lesser known group from Scotland specialising in emotive techno. The band consists of Colin Anderson and Allan Bryce. The band was formed in 2003 though both members worked on 'bedroom studio' songs since the mid nineties.
The band have built up quite a following around Scotland in their short period together, thanks mainly to their live sets and spontaneously evolving tracks.
Their debut album, "escalet", has received much acclaim in and around the underground circuit with its quirky samples and droning analog synths that stray out of the normal boundaries set within the music world.
