Leather helmet is a form of helmet, or rather just a form of protective clothing. The helmet is made of soft leather. A leather helmet and goggles were often used by WW1 pilots. It was also adoped by people in open air motoring and racing. A leather helmet with soft padding was also used by tank personell.
