Lee Bowers (1925 - August 9, 1966) was a witness to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963. He reported seeing people standing on the grassy knoll, and said that something (he was not sure what) drew his eye toward that area at the time of the shooting. He was killed in 1966 when his car left the road and struck a concrete abutment. It has often been claimed that his death was a murder, but investigator David Perry concludes that there is no basis for this belief. External links
