Lee Byung-hun Brian (born July 12, 1970, Seoul, South Korea. Lee speaks French and Mandarin in addition to his native Korean. Lee made his debut in 1991, starring in the drama 'Asphalt My Hometown". His father, Lee In-chul died in 1997 while shooting Harmonium in My Memory. Lee's later movie, Joint Security Area, was a success, and surpassed the box-office benchmark set by Shiri. After Lee's role in Bunjee Jumping Of Their Own, his acting talent gathered widespread recognition. In 2002, Joongdok was predicted as other well-known movie for Lee after the Bunjee Jumping Of Their Own. Lee has recently played a part in the movie Everybody Has Secrets with Choi Ji Woo, Chu Sang Mi and Kim Hyo Jin, a movie about three sisters that fall in love with Lee Soo-hyon . Soo-hyon falls in love with one of the sisters, leaving the other two heartbroken. The movie has reached a very high bid of US$550 million in Japan. Lee has a younger sister, Lee Eun-Hee, eight years his junior, who was the runner-up in the Miss Korea 1996 beauty contest. Lee has broken up with his girlfriend Song Hye Kyo, who is twelve years his junior.
