Lethal Weapon 3 is a 1992 film starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci and Rene Russo. It is a sequel to Lethal Weapon and Lethal Weapon 2.
The movie is set in 1992, five years after Riggs (Gibson) and Murtaugh (Glover) originally meet. The pair are joined by their companion of three years ago, Leo Getz (Pesci), and beautiful fellow tough-woman Sgt. Lorna Cole (Russo).
Cole, Riggs and Murtaugh uncover a former cop's stealing of LAPD seized guns and ammunition to fund construction projects in the desert. The former cop, Jack Travis, is eventually shot dead by Martin Riggs, who by the end of the film is together with Lorna Cole. Riggs has found his perfect woman.
