Lewis Black (born August 30, 1948) is an American stand-up comedian who makes regular appearances on The Daily Show doing his "Back in Black" commentaries. He is well-known for his angry rants, his political commentary, and his use of his pointed fingers for punctuating gestures. He was also an infrequent guest on Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and has appeared in several one-hour specials on that channel. His most recent special, Lewis Black: Black on Broadway, was filmed at the Brooks Atkinson Theater for HBO
