Liberal Christianity is that portion of the Christian Church, mainly Protestant, although there are isolated pockets of Roman Catholics, which has gradually adopted beliefs and practices similar to those of the Unitarian-Universalism. This includes many of the main-line churches in the United States or significant portions of them. Typical positions include rejection of fundamentalism, acceptance of homosexuality, inclusion of women in the ministry, and rejection of literal interpretation of the Bible.
