How to obtain a amature radio licence differs from country to country. You may have to take a morse test in some not in others. In Britain the Amature is in 3 stages
1/ foudation
2/ Intermediate
£/ Full
Each involves passing a test foundatiohn and intermediate the results are known on the day with full licence a wait of 28 days for the papers to be marked.
All exams are set by the RSGB radio society of Great Britain
