Lilyfield - Definition

Lilyfield is a small inner-western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The origin of the name is not known.

It was the terminus of a tram line in the original Sydney tram system, and became a bus terminus when that system was abolished. In 2000 it became a terminus of the new Sydney light railway.
