Lime Valley Covered Bridge - Definition

Lime Valley Covered Bridge is a covered bridge located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is also known as the Strasburg Bridge and the Pequea #8 Bridge. Built in 1871 by Elias McMellen it has a wooden burr truss. The bridge, which crosses Pequea Creek, is 93 feet (28.3m) long and 13 feet (4m) wide.
