Linda Smith is a British comedian who was educated at Sheffield University. She was awarded the Hackney Empire's New London Comic Award and performed on the Edinburgh Fringe before breaking into radio comedy. She is regular panellist on The News Quiz and Just a Minute, and has appeared on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, Have I Got News For You, Countdown and QI. She has had two series of her own radio show, A Brief History of Timewasting.
