From that time on, Goku believed that Gohan's soul was in the four star dragonball.

Guldo character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

A short, frog-like creature, Guldo is a member of the Ginyu Force. Though obviously the physically weakest member of the force, Guldo had the ability to stop time by holding his breath. Guldo fought Kuririn and Gohan after their powers have been awakened by Guru. Gohan and Kuririn had a huge advantage over Guldo in power and speed, and Guldo would only defend himself by holding his breath to stop time and hide. He would later use his Mind Freeze technique to freeze them in place. After Guldo had finished toying with Gohan and Kuririn, he used his energy to extract a tree from the ground, making it into a spear, and he would have killed them if Vegeta hadn't killed Guldo, decapitating him with a ki blast.

N

Nail character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

During the Freeza Saga Nail has to fight Freeza in order to stop him from killing Guru and getting the Dragonballs. Even though Freeza was in his lowest power level, Nail was no match for the tyrant, and even lost an arm (which he regenerated) during the battle. Before Freeza could finish Nail off, Freeza is called away for some reason and Nail is left for dead on the ground.

Piccolo then arrives and finds the disabled Namek. Nail is still able to speak, and asks Piccolo to fuse with him in order to increase his chances against Frieza, and at the same time save his life. Piccolo agrees after some questioning of Nail's motives, and indeed his power level increases dramatically.

Nappa character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

A Sayian warrior, Nappa plays an insignificant role in Dragon Ball Z, and he is killed very early in the series during the Saiyan Saga. Nappa was originally Vegeta's right hand man, however when Vegeta saw how weak he was compared to Goku, he killed Nappa himself. Nappa is a very large Saiyan (which does not relate to his power level) who is bald and not too bright.

In a later episode, Vegeta claims that a pure breed Saiyan's hair style remains unchanged from birth which would mean that Nappa was always bald. This would contradict with his brief appearance in the Bardock movie which shows him to have a fair amount. He possibly shaved off his hair in between the Bardock movie and the Saiyan Saga, after which it would never grow back.

Special abilities

Bomber DX
A powerful blast of ki that resembles a bolt of electricity, Nappa intended to use this attack against Gohan, but ended up killing Piccolo with it. This move has no given name in the cannon, but is named in the video games. <p>Saiko no kogeki
A powerful beam shot from the mouth, this was Nappa's ultimate skill. He used this to little effect in his battle against Goku.

P

He was nearly killed when Freeza destroyed planet Vegeta, however the "latent energy" in his son Brolli allowed them to escape. Paragus is unable to control his son's power when the boy has grown up, so he has a scientist create a controlling device which is placed on Brolli while he is asleep. Using this device, Paragus uses Brolli as a tool of destruction in order to have some sort of rule over the universe.

Paragus is later killed by Brolli after the controlling device had been nullified.

Piano character appears in the original Dragon Ball series

Piano is Demon King Piccolo's third minion. King Piccolo's other spawns include: LDBC:Tambourine, LDBC:Cymbol, Piano, LDBC:Drum, and Piccolo.

Pilaf character appears in the original Dragon Ball seriescharacter appears in the Dragon Ball GT series

Pilaf is last seen in Dragon Ball GT, as he unwittingly makes a wish that reverts Goku back to childhood.

Pompet character appears in the original Dragon Ball series

Pompet is a small, but fast human who is the star of several action movies. Like Hercule, he has an inflated sense of himself. In the 22nd Budokai, he fights Goku, who disposes of him with three quick blows. He is not seen again.

R

Raditz character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

See Raditz.

Recoome character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

A large, human-like member of the Ginyu Force. Recoome is physically the strongest in the force, but obviously not the brightest.

Recoome had first fought Vegeta, dominating once Vegeta ran out of energy. He would have destroyed Vegeta with his Eraser Cannon attack if Gohan and Kuririn hadn't stepped in to save Vegeta. After Kuririn's surprise attack on him, Recoome had gotten up, and nearly killed him with one kick to the head. Gohan was his next challenger, mainly toying with the boy. Gohan had very little advantage over him, but Recoome's power was too much for him, and he would have died from a broken neck if Goku hadn't arrived in time to give him and Kuririn a senzu bean.

Surprisingly enough, he threw Vegeta one before fighting Recoome. He had thought Goku was being small and cocky, but Goku ended up felling the giant with one devastating blow. Later, Vegeta stepped in, obliterating the unconscious Recoome after killing Burter.

S

Saibamen character appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

Small, humanoid creatures, they were used by the Saiyan's for the purpose of training. During the battle with Nappa, six were grown in the Earth's soil to attack the defending Z Fighters. One was killed by Vegeta after failing to defeat Tenshinhan, another had self-destructed on Yamcha, killing him, three were killed by Kuririn's raining energy blasts, and the remaining one was killed by Piccolo after it was weakened by Kuririn's energy blast.

Saibemen have very sharp claws, the ability to shoot a stream of acid from the top of their head, and can self-destruct like a bomb.

After Tenshinhan and Chaouzu left him, he rebuilt his near-dead brother (who was injured by Goku in combat, and had him enter into the 23rd Tenka'ichi Budôkai to get revenge on both Tenshinhan and Goku. Tenshinhan, however, easily defeats Tao and threatens Tsuru if he ever bothers him again.

Turres character appears in Dragon Ball Movie(s) almost exclusively

In the Dragon Ball movie Tree of Might (3rd movie), Turres (dub name: Turles) is a Saiyan with an uncanny resemblance to Son Goku. (No evidence is provided in the movie for him being a relative of Goku, but some fans theorize that this is possible.) He was 10 years old when Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Freeza, and he managed to flee undetected in an escape pod.

Turres, like many Saiyans, had a craving for power. Having heard of the Saiyan Goku on planet Earth, he goes to investigate and plant the Tree of Might. Turres's men are defeated easily and even his general Almond is destroyed. After eating some fruit from the tree, Turres becomes super-charged, and defeats all the Z fighters, including Goku. While Piccolo served as a distraction, Goku formed a massive spirit bomb which then destroyed the tree and Turres.

Turres also made a second appearance in the video game/movie "Plot To Destroy the Saiya-jin!". This movie is considered even less canon than the other movies as it is based on a game and not produced by Toei.
