This is a list of Irish loughs and lochs.
Note that there are many minor bodies of water in Ireland, the majority of which are named loughs or lochs. The list below only contains loughs and lochs which are of geographic, geological or historical importance.
Freshwater loughs and lochs
- Lough Allen, County Leitrim
- Lough Conn, County Mayo
- Lough Corrib, County Galway (below Lough Mask)
- Lough Derg, two lakes: one on the River Shannon – the second-largest in Ireland; and a smaller one in County Donegal.
- Lough Erne, two lakes: Upper Lough Erne and Lower Lough Erne
- Lough Gur
- Lough Mask, County Mayo (above Lough Corrib)
- Lough Neagh, Northern Ireland – the largest lake in Ireland
- Lough Oughter, County Cavan
- Lough Owel, County Westmeath
- Lough Ree, in the Midlands of Ireland.
- Lough Rynn, County Leitrim
