Technically, Seisen classes doesn't have set promotions, each character has a set class they'll upgrade to. But they generally follow these lines. The weapon type name (Sword, Axe, Lance, or Arch) in a class name means that the unit is restricted to that type of weapon. "Armor" units are restricted to one type of weapon until promotion.
