Lites is a Unix-like operating system built on the Machmicrokernel. It is based on 4.4BSD. Lites provides a system which is compatible with other BSD operating systems based on the 4.4 release including FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and 386BSD. Lites was developed at the University of Utah.
