Liz Sherman is a fictional character in the Hellboy comic book series created by Mike Mignola. She is a pyrokinetic capable of starting fires with her mind. This power manifested at an early age causing a firestorm that killed her family. She was taken in by the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense where she learned to control her power to some degree. She is often teamed with Hellboy and Abe Sapien. Her childhood trauma has left her bitter and she has often left the B.P.R.D., but she always comes back, presumbly because it is the closest thing to a family she has.
