Los Hornos is a distinct neighbourhood of the city of La Plata (capital of the
province of Buenos Aires, Argentina). Formerly a detached
population, its name (Spanish for "The Ovens") refers to the
location where many of the bricks used in building the
city of La Plata (from 1882) were manufactured.
