Loti - Definition and Overview |

The Loti (pl. maloti) is the currency of the Kingdom of Lesotho. It is subdivided into 100 lisente (sg. sente). It is pegged to the South African Rand on a 1:1 basis, and both are accepted as legal tender within Lesotho. As of January 7, 2005, there were 6.10510 maloti to the US dollar, or 7.97177 to the Euro.
