Loughborough Junction railway station - Definition and Overview

Loughborough Junction railway station is a train station in Brixton, South London. (Note that it does not serve Loughborough in Leicestershire.) It is on the Thameslink line between Herne Hill and Elephant & Castle on the Sutton Loop.

The South London Line passes above the station, and it is possible that when this line is taken over by the East London Line, platforms will be built to provide interchange between the two lines.
