Louis Jacolliot - Definition

Louis Jacolliot (*1837 in Charolles, † 1890 in Saint Thibault des Vignes) was a french author. He lived several years in India and other parts of Asia. He wrote extensively on Indian Culture. Among his works is a translation of the Manu Smriti. His works were also quoted in Helena Blavatsky's book Isis Unveiled.
