Louise Nauth was a female guard at the Buchenwald camp during the final stages of World War II.
Louise (Luise) Nauth was born in Erfurt, Germany on February 28, 1911. In 1944 she applied to be a camp guard, and it is no surprise that the Nazis sent her to Buchenwald, the closest camp to Erfurt. Little is known about Louise today, and her actions in the camp. Her fate remains a mystery also.
