Lucille Roybal-Allard (born June 12 1941), American politician, has been a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives since 1993, representing the 34th District of California. She was born in Boyle Heights, California, the daughter of Representative Edward R. Roybal. She was educated at California State University, Los Angeles, and was a public relations and fund raising executive and a member of the California Assembly before entering the House.
