Lycon - Definition and Overview

In Greek mythology, Lycon was a son of King Hippocoon of Sparta. His father had taken the throne from his brother, Tyndareus. Heracles overthrew Hippocoon and killed Lycon, reinstating Tyndareus. He was one of the prosecuters during the trial of Socrates.
