MSTie, rarely spelled MiSTie, is a term for a fan of the show Mystery Science Theater 3000. It rhymes with "misty".
It was coined by analogy to the term Trekkie, however, unlike that term, it is almost never considered derogatory. MSTies wear the label as a badge of pride, and it gained Best Brains, Inc.'s seal of approval with the 1996 publication of the Amazing Colossal Episode Guide.
