Magistratus Curulis - Definition

Magistratus Curulis was a magistrate in Ancient Rome entitled to use sella curulis, a chair of office made of ivory. They included the Dictator, Consul, Praetor, and Curule Aedile. Also Flamen Dialis, the priest of Iuppiter, was entitled to sit on one.
