The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are a minor league baseball club based in Niles, Ohio, a city in the valley of the Mahoning River. The Scrappers play in the Pinckney Division of the short-season Class A New York - Penn League and are affiliated with the Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball club. In 2004, they won the New York - Penn League championship.
The Scrappers' home field is Eastwood Field, opened in 1999 as Cafaro Field, located behind the Eastwood Mall on U.S. Highway 422. In their six seasons since moving from Erie, Pennsylvania, the Scrappers have averaged over 4,000 fans per game.
