Main Street, USA is the welcoming and entrance area of the many Disneylands around the world.
Disneyland
At the original Disneyland in Anaheim, Main Street USA is based on the real Main Street in Walt Disney's home town of Marceline, Missouri. It is based on a turn-of-the-century patriotic American town, with a City Hall (that serves as the park's administrative offices) and many shops and resturaunts. At the end of Main Street USA stands the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The Magic Kingdom
The second Magic Kingdom-style park featured almost exactly the same Main Street USA as Disneyland. The Emporium and City Hall are in the same places, with minor changes in the stock that shops sell. At the end of Main Street USA stands the majestic Cinderella Castle.
Tokyo Disneyland
In The Walt Disney Company's first theme park venture outside of the USA, Tokyo's Main Street is called the World Bazaar. It is covered by a huge Victorian conservatory style glass roof, which offers protection from the erratic Japanese weather, and the shops are in a less American style. The second Cinderella Castle stands at the end of the World Bazaar.
Disneyland Paris
The second foreign Disneyland left out the World Bazaar theme and the glass roof, and returned to the Main Street USA idea, but in a different time period. If you look from a distance Disneyland Paris's Main Street USA looks the same as Disneyland's, or the Magic Kingdom's. But if you look closer at the detail, the decor and building is in a 1920's style, inspired by the flapper. A wider palette of colours is used, and at the end of Main Street USA stands the visually-stunning Sleeping Beauty Castle, different to the original.
Hong Kong Disneyland
The newest Disneyland is built almost exactly the same as the original Disneyland was. The third Sleeping Beauty Castle is exactly the same as the original.
