Mallrats is a 1995 movie by filmmaker Kevin Smith, part of his 5-episode View Askewniverse or New Jersey films series. It stars several regular cast members of Smith's movies, including Jason Lee, Ben Affleck, and Joey Lauren Adams. The plot deals with several teenagers and their misadventures in a New Jersey mall. The movie was filmed at Eden Prairie Center, a mall in the town of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Jay and Silent Bob figure prominently in the movie as well, as they do throughout this series of Smith's films.

Comic book icon Stan Lee made a brief cameo appearance.

Mallrats was the subject of much critical derision when it was released, with many critics comparing it extremely unfavorably to Smith's prior film, Clerks. Smith even went so far as to apologize for Mallrats, although he later revealed the apology to be in jest.
