Marcelo Saragosa (born January 22, 1982 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian soccer player, who currently plays defensive midfielder for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer.
Before joining the Galaxy, Saragosa played for São Paulo Futebol Clube where he was known as Gallo, and is currently on loan from that team. In his first season with the Galaxy, Saragosa impressed significantly, earning a starting role early in the season, and finishing the year with 24 starts and 2123 minutes.
