Marcus Hahnemann - Definition and Overview

Marcus Hahnemann (born June 15, 1972 in Seattle, Washington) is an American soccer goalkeeper, who currently plays for Reading F.C. in the Football League Championship.

Hahnemann's pro career started in 1994 with the Seattle Sounders of the A-League. He waited until 1997 to join Major League Soccer, signing with the Colorado Rapids. After two and a half seasons there, he signed with English club Fulham F.C., but did not see much playing time. In 2001, he was loaned out to Rochdale F.C., and then to Reading.
