Margery Allingham - Definition and Overview

Margery Louise Allingham (20 May 1904-1966) was a British novelist, popular from the 1920s onwards.

Allingham was born in London, and wrote mostly detective fiction, her major creation being Albert Campion, an upper-class character (played on television by Peter Davison).
