Mario Diaz-Balart (born September 25 1961), American politician, has been a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives since 2003, representing the 25th District of Florida. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was educated at the University of South Florida, and was a businessman and member of the Florida House of Representatives before entering the House. He is the brother of Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart and the son of an exiled Cuban politician.
