Market Weighton - Definition and Overview

Market Weighton is a small town in the East Riding of Yorkshire. In many respects it is very close to both Hull snd York and there is a bus service that runs throught it (X46) from Hull to York, making both cities very acessible.

Historically the market town was founded in 1251, today the abundance of shops is rather poor but yearly festivals help to brighten up the place. The town remains a very architecturally beautiful place, with many interesting tea shops and roads.
