Maroon is the sixth full-length album by Barenaked Ladies and their fifth studio album. It went gold and platinum in the US on the same day in October 2000. It was released in 2000. Keyboardist Kevin Hearn was back from the hospital and cancer-free by then, thanks to a bone marrow transplant from his brother.

Well-known tracks from this album include "Pinch Me", "Too Little Too Late" and "Falling For the First Time."

Tracks recorded for this album but left off of the finished record include: "Powder Blue" (appears on the US "Pinch Me" single), "Inline Bowline" (appears on the Aussie "Pinch Me" single), "Born Human" (appears on the Aussie "Pinch Me" single, also appears on the new Kevin Hearn and Thinbuckle album Night Light), "Half a Heart" (unreleased) and "Hidden Sun" (a truly touching song written by Kevin when he was in the hospital; appears as a hidden track on the "limited edition" version of Maroon after "Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel").
