Martin's Heron is the name given to a housing estate built on the eastern edge of Bracknell, Berkshire in the early 1980s. The name derives from both the historical house which once stood on the marshy land there, and from the old English word for meadow, Hern, from which Heron comes. The population of Martin's Heron is approximately 1000. |
