Match of the Day is the BBC's football (soccer) magazine shown every Saturday night. It is currently presented by Gary Lineker.
Match of the Day was first broadcast in 1964, though there have been periods of time when the BBC did not own the rights to football highlights which are shown by ITV.
Pundits featured on the show to make insightful comments about the games they have just seen, have included Alan Hansen, Trevor Brooking, Mark Lawrenson and Jimmy Hill.
