Matt Black (real name Matthew Cohen) is a British DJ and one half of Coldcut (along with Jonathan Moore).
Matt is widely regarded as one of the most inovative people in the new sphere of AudioVisual performance - his legendry AV tracks include "Timber" by Coldcut and Hexstatic as well as early involvement in the classic rave VJ series Xmix.
He is also a founding member of the (now defunct) VJ group Hex.
He is a founding member of VJ group The VJamm Allstars and continues to perform shows with them. Black has also worked alongside Crass Agenda as part of the Savage Utopia project.
